The Salehe Bembury x Crocs partnership has been a success since its inception. If you’re a fan of the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog, we’re excited to tell you that both entities will be partnering once more, this time to release a shoe with the same DNA/aesthetic.
Teased by Salehe Bembury himself, the Salehe Bembury x Croc Pollex Shoe is set to be the Pollex Pod Creative Director’s third silhouette with Crocs. Our most recent look at the footwear highlights the tooling of the shoe that comes with a design inspired by Bembury’s fingerprints, a motif that we’ve come accustomed to seeing on the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Clog and Slides. We also get a glimpse of the upper, which appears to be made out of a mix of materials while also done in much more traditional shoe design. Although not yet confirmed, the yet to be officially named shoe appears to get some of its inspiration from your traditional running sneaker as well as adopting a bit of a low-top hiking boots aesthetic. Some of the design details we are able to point out include the mesh inner-lining, the medial shank with dual branding on it, dual pull tabs and perforated overlays across the upper.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Shoe has not been “officially” introduced yet, but early reports (according to Salehe Bembury) point to a Spring/Summer 2024 release. Keep it locked for up to the minute updates.
