The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4 Is Designed For Running Marathons

New Balance has just dropped a new premium running sneaker to kick off the month of February with the arrival of the all-new New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4. Today, New Balance has officially launched the long-anticipated FuelCell SC Elite v4, including upgrades that focus on the details that are vital for athletes to perform this Olympic year.

With athletes including American marathon record holder Emily Sisson, immense research, testing, and athlete insights were conducted at New Balance’s Sports Research Lab for this SC Elite V4 upgrade. Providing runners with innovative midsole support and carbon fiber backed speed. All while holding true to New Balance’s heritage of quality without compromising on comfort.

Over 200 athletes will compete in New Balance at the Paris Olympics this year, and the SC Elite v4 is at the top of that list. With the ability to break records, the SC Elite v4 includes a new FuelCell midsole foam made with PEBA. PEBA foam is a material used in top caliber racing shoes, it is lighter and provides a more noticeable bounce in each step than previous FuelCell foams to keep legs feeling fresh and energized. The v4 carbon fiber plate is thinner, shaving weight while maintaining the stiffness needed for propulsion. The upper and tongue consists of lightweight mesh that eliminates any top foot irritations. The shoe was designed to excel in both innovative technology and all-around comfort that lasts through 26.2 miles.

The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4 is available now via newbalance.com in both men’s and women’s sizing for a retail price tag og $249.99.
