Oil and WaterI love the quiet aesthetic of this track, and the layered elements that not only lie on each other thematically but also create the most ethereal soundscape.This is a track that almost seemed to have happened years ago (because why wouldn’t Joji and Bonobo collaborate?) “From You” takes me through a river of duality — 2 sounds that don’t mix but layer themselves on each other perfectly, creating an art piece of collaborative separation.Above all this, above the pure aesthetic of the song, it’s also not a bad bop at all, if anything it’s more than just a bop.
