Created by Airbnb cofounder Joe Gebbia, Samara is a new company that is building small homes in backyards. The Backyard Tiny House
is a net-zero ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) available in two sizes, a
430-square-foot studio and a 550-square-foot one-bedroom, and are
intended to serve multiple uses. Owners have a choice of exterior colors
and floor plans, and both options come equipped with Samaras renowned
kitchen, a roomy bathroom, a washer/dryer combo, and plenty of built-in
storage. The dwelling is powered by solar panels and features a unique
air purifying system that filters air and ionizes it up to four times
per hour, ensuring the atmosphere is always fresh.
