Previously expected to release on April 16th, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Varsity Royal” was pushed back and now has a new release date which will be taking place next week. Originally released in 1996, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Varsity Royal” comes done in a color combination of of Varsity Royal, White, Volt, and Black. Composed of leather and nubuck uppers that are reinforced by a branded ankle strap, the model is topped off with visible Max Air cushioning throughout its full-length tooling.
Fans of The Kid can look for the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Varsity Royal” to arrive at select Nike retailers as well as online on May 28th for a price tag of $170.
