Kanye Reunites With Drake, Chanel Battles TikTok, Adam Sandler Wins

It’s the weekend, baby!

And what a news-worthy week we’ve had.

Once again, Kanye demanded our attention with his latest publicity stunt, a Larry Hoover benefit concert that saw the rapper officially squash his longstanding beef with Drake (who, it’s worth noting, withdrew his 2022 Grammy nominations). Ye also took the show as an opportunity to ask Kim Kardashian to get back together with him.

Also in controversial artists, Travis Scott sat down with Charlamange tha God for his first post-Astroworld interview.

In more lighthearted news, the week saw plenty of notable drops: Fendi x SKIMS returned for round two, Aimé Leon Dore debuted some scaly Clarks, Stray Rats made the New Balance 991 less elderly, and Unknown revived Ed Hardy.

There was one release that stood out from the rest: a final edition of Patek Philippe’s Nautilus Ref. 5711 made in collaboration with Tiffany & Co.

Our favorite celebrities got down to business, too. Kid Cudi walked the red carpet in a pair of massive Vetements slippers, Lana Del Rey wore an $18 SHEIN dress to Variety’s Hitmaker Brunch, and Jonah Hill bid farewell to his signature scumbro style by twinning with his girlfriend in a slick Gucci suit.

Catch up on the week in news below and, while you’re at it, spread the word: L.L. Bean is your new plug for Balenciaga on a budget.

“If we’re honest, though, $450 (if you can afford it) to watch two of this generation’s GOATs is a small price to pay for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

“It’s not that there’s zero chance of Kanye heading to LV, it’s merely that the half-assed reporting leaves much to be desired.”

“Lee’s final collection is a worthy final step on a too-short journey, one that I’ll be interested in seeing [Matthieu] Blazy follow.”

“When life gives TikTokers lemons, they make more than just lemonade — they make content that snowballs into a brand’s worst PR nightmare.”

“Even if you hate the schlubby style that Sandler usually affects with his baggy graphic tees and knee-length shorts, you’ve gotta admit that he has a certain unaffected je ne sais quoi that most other celebs try so hard to affect.”

“Do American Y2K fashion and provincial Russia seem like unnatural bedfellows? [Nikita] Chekrygin doesn’t think so.”
