It’s the weekend, baby!
And what a news-worthy week we’ve had.
Once again, Kanye demanded our attention with his latest publicity stunt, a Larry Hoover benefit concert that saw the rapper officially squash his longstanding beef with Drake (who, it’s worth noting, withdrew his 2022 Grammy nominations). Ye also took the show as an opportunity to ask Kim Kardashian to get back together with him.
Also in controversial artists, Travis Scott sat down with Charlamange tha God for his first post-Astroworld interview.
In more lighthearted news, the week saw plenty of notable drops: Fendi x SKIMS returned for round two, Aimé Leon Dore debuted some scaly Clarks, Stray Rats made the New Balance 991 less elderly, and Unknown revived Ed Hardy.
There was one release that stood out from the rest: a final edition of Patek Philippe’s Nautilus Ref. 5711 made in collaboration with Tiffany & Co.
Our favorite celebrities got down to business, too. Kid Cudi walked the red carpet in a pair of massive Vetements slippers, Lana Del Rey wore an $18 SHEIN dress to Variety’s Hitmaker Brunch, and Jonah Hill bid farewell to his signature scumbro style by twinning with his girlfriend in a slick Gucci suit.
