It’s the weekend, baby!
With daylight savings and plenty of happenings this week, we couldn’t be happier that we finally get two days of rest.
Last weekend resulted in an incredible tragedy at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival in Houston, leaving nine dead and plenty more injured. There are still investigations surrounding the festival, with little-to-no more news currently being shared. Our thoughts are with the families of those who didn’t make it back.
It was a week filled with news, to say the least. Daniel Lee is leaving Bottega Veneta, and no one saw it coming.
Gucci and Balenciaga’s Hacker collaboration finally released, as well, and Gucci also dropped a limited-edition “GG” monogram Xbox.
In the world of sneakers, we saw the release of the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 993, G-Dragon’s Nike Kwondo 1, the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 2 Low, and new Chuck Taylor’s from Rick Owens x Converse.
The CFDA Awards also took place, awarding designers including Grace Wales Bonner, Telfar Clemens, Christopher John Rogers, and Demna Gvasalia for their respective achievements, and the red carpet gave us an unforgettable ERL look from Kid Cudi.
Vetements launched VTMNTS, Supreme opened in Berlin, and Kim Kardashian’s Fendi x Skims made $1 million in one minute.
