What’s so good?

Sorry, I Have To GoA self-reflective piece on dissipating love that is tracked to a soft pop backdrop, feeding us a melancholic yet understanding moment of removal. It kinda sucks when you realize something is over, we’ve all been there, but we’ve also all been to that place where we understand that is being over, is actually better for us. It’s a cathartic experience and “Heartbeat” encapsulates that in a soothing and healingly melancholic sound that bombards us with an amount of emotional understanding we were not ready for within the spectrum of listening to a soft-pop track. The layers of the song can be peeled back to reveal a far more in-depth narrative about the slow destruction of one’s feelings towards someone, oneself, or something. The moment-to-moment dialogue is enough to keep you hooked on a floating feeling of fleeting emotional instability. This song has a heart and a beating one at that, albeit a sad one.
