lùisa – Burn Out

Sounds like:
Christine and the Queens, Beach House

What’s so good?

At first, floating along on the string work. Then, feeling the bounce. And finally, taken by quite androgynous (in my opinion) vocals. “Burn Out” is a track I’m confident in saying that I thoroughly enjoyed!lùisa, an artist who began making music very early in life, shows a keen eye for what lovers of modern-day indie music need and want. On top of that, her distinct vocals leave me not only wanting more but also certain that when another one of her tracks comes around, I’ll be able to recognize it as her own with ease.Speaking to the track, lùisa say:”I write in a very personal and autobiographical way, but I hope to transfer that to a more universal level. Songs should always ultimately work in a way that is detached from the author’s own experiences.””Burn Out” comes off of her upcoming third full-length album, New Woman, which was released on May 7th, 2021.
