When it comes to Oculus Quest 2 accessories VR Cover already offered a fairly extensive selection of affordable products. It has now added a couple more to that lineup as well as expanding its accessory options for the HP Reverb G2.
The main addition Oculus Quest 2 owners might be interested in is the Headstrap Replacement. Retailing for $24 USD, if you don’t like the stock Oculus Quest 2 strap then VR Cover’s version may just provide the support you need when playing Beat Saber. Greatly expanding the fabric rigging around your head it certainly looks like a secure fit can be achieved – and for half the price of the Elite Strap.
Plus if comfort and colour are important when accessorising your VR experience then VR Cover has released a snazzy Dark Blue Foam Replacement Set for its Facial Interface Kit. The set retails for $19.
As for the HP Reverb G2, owners can now buy the Facial Interface and Foam Replacement Set to replace the stock offering for $29. Made with PU Leather Foam, in the kit you get the interface and two pads in Standard and the thicker Comfort size which are easy to clean. Plus there’s a detachable nose guard which can help reduce light leaks.
All of these new products are currently available on VR Cover’s US and Worldwide stores. They’ll be released on the European store in a couple of weeks.
VR Cover hasn’t slowed down this year when it comes to accessorising either of the headset which only arrived towards the end of 2020. While the HP Reverb G2 got a Silicone Cover last month, Oculus Quest 2 saw the arrival of a carry case, Controller Grips and Halo Protectors so hitting a wall won’t be as damaging.
As the lineup of new accessories continues to grow, VRFocus will keep you updated.
