Nick Saban Takes Blame For Alabama’s Botched Fake Field Goal

It was the night all college football fans were waiting for on Monday when the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Clemson Tigers battled it out for the National Championship. It was a night to forget for the number one ranked Crimson Tide, as they lost in a blowout, 44-16. One of the plays that characterized the night, was a fake field goal attempt that ended miserably. Now Alabama head coach Nick Saban is taking the blame for it.

“We thought we had a really, really good fake, and somebody didn’t block a guy they were supposed to block, and so it didn’t work,” Saban said, according to ESPN. “So it was a bad call. It’s always that way.”
