Feng Suave – Unweaving the Rainbow Forever

Sounds like:
Still Woozy, Puma Blue, Brahny

What’s so good?

Feng Suave is a duo of two Daniels from Amsterdam — Daniel De Jong and Daniel Elvis Schoemaker. They’re at it again with another whimsical indie-pop tune about the saddest thing. This time they play us a lovely lullaby about how humans destroy their own earth. They start off the song describing how they feel more and more like animals in a zoo, trapped in an artificial world, and it just spirals downward from there.Listening to Feng Suave’s music is a journey because, at first, their songs sound relaxed, warm, and lackadaisical. Then there’s this moment you have, where you pause and realize the important and often depressing themes they’ve communicated through lyrics. And after that, the way you listen to it changes. There’s a waking-up involved, and that expression of the human experience, I fully appreciate.
