This Air Jordan 1 Chicago Satin Custom Is The Sneaker We All Wished Dropped In 2019

Solomon Pech (aka hoopfr3sh on IG) recently unveiled this Air Jordan 1 Chicago Satin custom you see above. We all know Chicago 1s are fire as is, but this satin-covered version of the sneaker definitely takes the icon sneaker to a whole other level.

A couple of us here at KicksonFire were lucky enough to see this custom in-person earlier this week. As dope as they look in the pictures above, believe me when I say they look even cleaner in person. Let me break down the design for you.

So hoopfr3sh‘s Air Jordan 1 Chicago Satin custom is a handmade fully constructed pair that is done using traditional shoe making methods. Each pair is constructed by his hands and no one else. The sneaker is lined with smooth black lamb skin and also comes equipped with gunmetal eyelets. The upper is done in the timeless Chicago color blocking, but instead of leather, hoopfr3sh opts for a luxurious satin take on the classic colorway. Continue reading

Air Jordan 1 Mid Satin Coming Soon

Jordan Brand is dropping a slew of Air Jordan 1 Mids, as the silhouette is now introduced in a satin variation for the holiday season. Expected to debut in December, the model flaunts an elevated aesthetic via the defining satin material utilized across its toe box and collar area in a slate blue-like/grey finish. Contrasting white leather for the side panels, followed by black nubuck overlays comprise the uppers. Finally,  stitched 3D Swoosh logos on the sides in the same hue as the satin material, followed by a sail midsole and black rubber outsole tops off the design. Continue reading

Do You Like The Air Jordan 6 Black Washed Denim?

The Air Jordan 6 “Black Washed Denim” is one of JB’s standout offerings for holiday 2019, and it’s slated to drop after Christmas. As suggested, the sneaker is styled in a washed denim makeover that features dark and light hues across its upper. Contrasting tan leather is applied on the tongue, alongside a red lace lock, while black also adds a complementing hue throughout its design. Finally, white accents on the heel tab and a milky translucent outsole tops it all off.

Although it’s not rumored to release until the 2020 holiday season, we’re here to let you know that the ladies will be getting another women’s-exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 11 next year.

Currently known as the Air Jordan 11 SE WMNS Black White, the Air Jordan 11  (which has not leaked yet) is said to come in a Black and White color scheme. The mock-up by zsneakerheadz gives us an idea of what the shoe could end up looking like which it shows it coming with a Black-based upper with a matching patent leather mudguard atop a White rubber sole. Official Images: Air Jordan 1 Mid Pine Green

Slated to release soon, here are official images of the Air Jordan 1 Mid Pine Green. This new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid is done in a Pine Green/White-Black-University Red color scheme. Details include the Black leather overlays, White leather on the side panels and the Green leather taking care of the toe, collar, Swoosh logo and rubber outsole. Giving it a little bit of a Christmas vibe are the Red hits noted on the Wings logo and tongue.

No official release date has been announced, but the Air Jordan 1 Mid Pine Green is expected to drop very soon at select retailers and Nike.com for the retail price of $110. Continue reading
