Scottish automotive startup Munro Vehicles today revealed its rugged all-electric 4×4. Cut from the same cloth as the Bollinger B1, the Munro Mark 1 is a bold, boxy off-roader specced to deliver decades of all-terrain productivity, exploration and just plain fun. Munro has stripped out the fancy electronics and computer logic, and taken things old school with a mechanical 4×4 with locking differentials. The solid-axled electric rig promises up to 280 kW of power and nearly 200 miles (322 km) of range per charge.

DHL Group is making some interesting moves in its efforts to decarbonize its operations, deploying mail-carrying robots in Germany, flying delivery drones in Tanzania and lining up all-electric cargo planes for the US. Its latest steps mightn’t be its most adventurous but aren’t any less significant, with the logistics giant placing an order for 2,000 electric Transit vans with Ford.
