Superchief Celebrates 10 Years with “Mega Anniversary Summer Group Show” in LA

Superchief Gallery—who has been committed to supporting underground artists and elevating the fringe art community to the global stage–is marking their 10 Year Anniversary with their annual Mega Anniversary Summer Group Show opening June 11 at their brand-new Los Angeles warehouse gallery located at 1969 S. Los Angeles Street in DTLA.  The show will run through July 30, 2022.

Curran Hatleberg’s New Book is an Episodic Hallucination of Life Lived Outdoors

Curran Hatleberg is known for traveling America, guided by intuition, to create scenes of American life and landscape. Working collaboratively with the people he meets, he recounts intimate stories of family and community. Here, in the follow-up to his first monograph Lost Coast, Hatleberg centers his narrative on the dog days of summer. Sweltering heat, dripping humidity, lush vegetation, and screaming insects– River’s Dream is a pulsing and episodic hallucination of life lived outdoors.
