Check out the new Converse Chuck Taylor MC18 High Top. This new model is part of the brand’s Mountain Club capsule collection. Below you will find rugged outsoles that offer plenty of traction and comfort. This particular colorway has the shoe come dressed in a Black upper and White sole. Tyler, the Creator has just given us a first look at an upcoming release that he’ll be dropping with Converse for the holidays. Utilizing the Converse One Star silhouette, this new colorway is inspired by the popular “Grinch” character and comes covered in a green hairy fleece material meant to mimic the actual body of The Grinch. Additional details include his eyes embroidered on the heels, red insoles, and contrasting white on the laces, inner liner, branding on the tongue, and the rubber midsole.
Above you will get a good look at the Converse Mountain Club Collection set to make its debut later on this week.
The Converse Mountain Club Collection is inspired by the Extreme Cold Weather Boot, a rubber military boot developed in the 1950s that was once produced by Converse. Using similar aesthetics as the Extreme Cold Weather Boot, the Converse Mountain Club Collection consists of three classic Converse styles that include the Chuck Taylor All Star, One Star and Fastbreak. Each model comes with an upper that utilizes GORE-TEX technology to make the shoes waterproof. What you end up getting are tonal footwear offerings that are not only functional, but also stylish.
Releasing later on this week, here’s a good look at the Brain Dead x Converse Chuck 70 collab. Kyle Ng (Brain Dead founder) links up with Converse to design a special version of the Converse Chuck 70 full of prints and patterns.
The Brain Dead x Converse Chuck 70 design consists of each panel utilizing a different motif. For example, the left shoe comes with zebra print on the medial side, black/white polka dots on the tongue and a duck camo print on the medial side. Whereas the right shoe comes with a cheetah pattern on the lateral side, white/black polka dots on the tongue and stars on the medial side. The left and right shoe differ from each other, but they do share some similarities such as the Brain Dead patch on the lateral collar, the Converse star logo on the medial collar, American flag piping on the heel, and printed text on the white midsole. Get a good look at the Brain Dead x Converse Chuck 70 above and look for them to drop on October 26th for $110.
