Remember the Stone Island X New Balance RC Elite collab that dropped last year? Arguably one of the best New Balance collabs of 2021, both parties will be linking up once again this year for a couple new colorways of the model.
Shown below, this collab will include two colorways of the Stone Island x New Balance Fuel Cell RC Elite V2 that pairs bold neon’s and contrasting, traditional color palette. These pairs don an acidic green knit upper, overlaid with burgundy sourced from a classic 574 colorway, while the second pair opts for a vivid Red knit upper, overlaid with iconic, New Balance grey.
Tech details on the Stone Island x TDS FuelCell RC Elite V2’s include a propulsive FuelCell cushioning and
a full-length, energy-returning carbon fiber plate. The upper consists of a lightweight, breathable 3D knit upper paired with jagged edged, synthetic overlays, inspired by the 574. The combination of heritage and futuristic elements give the impression that the contemporary shape of the FuelCell RC Elite V2 is emerging from a classic predecessor.
Tokyo Design Studio New Balance played an instrumental role in creating this collaboration. Keeping
quality and craftsmanship at the forefront of design and production, TDS leaned into pushing boundaries
and testing the latest technology when creating the Stone Island x New Balance Fuel Cell RC Elite V2.
The Stone Island x New Balance Fuel Cell RC Elite V2 will be available exclusively at Stone Island stores starting from June 30, on StoneIsland.com from July 5th and globally on NewBalance.com, New Balance’s T-
House and selected wholesalers from July 8.
