This new adidas Y-3 model is an entirely subversive vision of a running-inspired silhouette. Looking to experiment with a new approach to comfort, adidas and Y-3 push the boundaries of footwear and functional design in uniquely avant-garde fashion. Details include a foam padding that wraps around the cushioned EVA midsole, which goes beyond the feeling of comfort and creates a cloud-like visual representation of it. The rubber outsole takes inspiration from track and field runners with its spikes aesthetic. Up top you will find a textile upper with suede hits, alongside mesh and leather lining.
Retailing for $450, this new colorway of the adidas Y-3 Makura can now be found at select retailers and adidas.com.
