Hear Grouper play unreleased songs in a 13th century gothic church

Including music from her upcoming Grid Of Points.

Liz Harris announced her first Grouper album in nearly four years last week. To mark the occasion, we’re sharing a recording of Grouper’s incredible headlining set at last year’s Le Guess Who? Festival.

Beginning with ‘Thanksgiving Song’, an unreleased track from the upcoming Grid Of Points, the set moves through field recordings, classics including ‘Fishing Bird’ and ‘Cover The Windows And The Walls’ and another unreleased song titled ‘No One (Four Of Cups)’. Sporting a butter soft suede upper with perorations in evening sand, the ASICS Tiger logo and the heel tab come in contrasting hot pink. The asphaltgold branding can also be found on the taping of the tongue, on the flag label in the back, as well as on the insole, while the neoprene tongue features an Art Nouveau-inspired pattern. Cop The Exotic atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Pack 2.0 This Weekend

Nike’s Air Max Day is happening later this month, but to celebrate it early, this atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Pack 2.0 version is a must-cop. This version of the runner features a black upper instead of the original off-white iteration, and basically sports a mixture of faux animal furs consisting of zebra, leopard and tiger patterns, while red contrasting accents are used for the swooshes, branding on the tongue and insoles. Bekon – Against The Clock

The Kendrick Lamar producer makes a track in 10 minutes. 

When Kendrick Lamar released DAMN. last year, one name stood out on the credits among familiar producers like James Blake and Mike Will Made It: Bekon, who contributed to eight songs on the album, including stand-outs ‘Element’, ‘Fear’ and ‘Duckworth’.

Bekon has since been revealed as Danny Tannenbaum, aka Danny Keyz, a producer who’d already received a Grammy nomination in 2017 for his songwriting work with BJ the Chicago Kid and worked on Eminem’s The Recovery, Snoop Dogg’s Doggumentary and RZA’s Digi Snacks. Continue reading
