DGA TV Nominations Include Bill Hader, Donald Glover, and Cary Fukunaga

The Directors Guild of America Awards have announced nominees in their TV, commercials, and documentary categories ahead of tomorrow’s feature film nominations announcement. The TV nominations consist of a pretty swell batch, from Barry’s Bill Hader to Atlanta’s Donald Glover and Hiro Murai. On the drama side, Adam McKay scored a nomination for helming the Succession pilot, and Cary Joji Fukunaga received a much-deserved nomination in the Limited Series category for Maniac alongside Sharp Objects helmer Jean-Marc Vallée. This is some footage from a Ring video doorbell in Florida of a black bear that casually strolls onto the home’s porch, knocks over and breaks the family’s Christmas decorations, then rings the doorbell with its nose so they can admire its handiwork. Cody Parkey’s Missed Field Goal Officially Ruled A Blocked Kick By NFL

It was a heartbreaking scene when Cody Parkey, the kicker for the Chicago Bears missed a potential game-winning field goal against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Bears were down by one point with just a few seconds left and a successful field goal would have secured a win. Parkey left the field to boos and was visibly upset over missing the kick. Daz Dillinger Reportedly Indicted On Two Of The 13 Felony Marijuana Charges

Back in September, Daz Dillinger was busted for marijuana possession after police found a total of 117 grams of weed as well as THC pods, oil, a vaporizer and a container of purple liquid labeled “Cannabis Lean” at his home outside of Atlanta. The “Stay Out The Way” rapper was being held on twelve counts of possession of a controlled substance as well as a single count of possession of more than an ounce of marijuana. Continue reading
