R. Kelly’s been the topic of discussion for the past few days due to Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly docuseries. Surviving R. Kelly puts a spotlight on the sexual misconduct allegations he’s faced over the past few days and included accounts from his alleged victims. The singer was accused of recruiting women for a sex cult which allegedly headquartered at his Chicago studio. ‘Roma’, ‘A Star Is Born’ Headline American Society of Cinematographers Nominations

The American Society of Cinematographers has announced the nominations for the 33rd Annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards. The feature film category is chock-full of no-brainers like Alfonso Cuarón for Roma—Cuarón acted as DP on the intensely personal Netflix drama in addition to directing and writing the script—Robbie Ryan (and his fisheye lenses) for The Favourite, and Linus Sandgren for First Man. Over on the TV side things are a bit more surprising, with Gotham’s David Stockton getting a nod for the season four episode “Queen Takes Knight”, The Handmaid’s Tale showing up …

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Drops Video For “4 Min Convo (Favorite Song)”

Of the releases that took place on December 21, 21 Savage’s i am > i was picked up the most traction but A Boogie wit da Hoodie’s new project is not being slept on. The two have been selling in high numbers as Hoodie SZN continues to strive on the charts. With each listen, it seems the album gets a little better too. One of the more personal songs on the record is “4 Min Convo (Favorite Song),” which acts as a nice refresher after pick-me-ups “Startender” and “Skeezers.” “4 Min Convo” comes near the end of the tracklist but it’s clearly one of the most meaningful cuts to A Boogie.
