With “Pretty Boys,” they take an instrumental backseat to the chillwave sounds of Khruangbin but add a Bowie-esque vocal track that is hyper reminiscent of a glam rock ballad performance.McCartney has always been an influencer, there is no denying that obviously, but with not only this track but the album itself (Paul McCartney III Imagined) they cement themselves as a collaborator and producer of music beyond the ties of their rock-pop background and into a spectrum of vast knowledge and versatility.
