The Air Jordan 6 Flint Grey is a brand new iteration of the silhouette and it’s inspired by the classic “Flint” color block theme that was popularized on the AJ 7, AJ 9 and AJ 13 silhouettes. Landing on the AJ 6 for the new year, the sneaker features a textured white leather upper with grey suede underlays. Contrasting the look are black tongues, and accents on the midsole, followed by hits of purple and infrared scattered all over. Finally, a Jumpman logo with air embroidery on the heels, mini Jordan tags on the sides and an icy translucent outsole completes the look.
Last year we were treated with an Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 Olive aka another version of the Cactus Jack AJ 4’s, hoping that it will release to the public, but that won’t be happening anytime soon. According to sources, the Olive version is actually an unreleased sample that was supposed to be a Friends & Family pair. Featuring an olive nubuck upper with contrasting pops of black on the tongue, wings and midsole, other details include co-branding on the heel tab with the ‘Nike Air’ logo in addition to Travis Scott’s ‘Cactus Jack’ emblem on the other side. Also, a size 12 that is featured is being sold for $14,500.
The Nike Air Fear of God Moccasin is another brand new silhouette from Jerry Lorenzo and Nike’s partnership, and a tonal Black rendition of the model is introduced in a closer look. Like the Nike Air Fear of God 1, this Moccasin edition sports a black upper that is detailed with an elastic strap and toggle pull lacing system located on the heel. Finally Fear of God branding on the insoles and a thick Zoom Air unit tops off the style. Also, another set of the images features another version sporting criss-cross straps and the lacing toggle on the frontal portion.
The Nike Air VaporMax 2019 Black Metallic Gold is going to make its debut soon to welcome the new year in style. Highlighted by its translucent treatment upper with exposed seamed stitching in black, the model is also detailed with a golden internal cage that wraps the mid-foot for lockdown support. More golden hits are added on the tongue branding, heel area and throughout the translucent VaporMax sole in a tinted theme to complete the design.
The Nike Air Max 90 Ultra 2.0 is another silhouette that will be celebrating Chinese New Year, and it’s featured in its official images. The updated runner features a black synthetic and leather upper, but the highlight is seen on the toe box, along the collar and insoles with a geometric quilt pattern that is influenced by all 12 Chinese Zodiac symbols and joined together in a form of traditional Chinese patchwork called Bai Jia Yi. Finally, gold Swooshes, branding on the tongue, a white midsole and black rubber outsole completes the style.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Utility made its debut last year, and for 2019, an all-new Nike Air Force 1 Mid Utility is introduced. Featured in an official colorway of Spruce Fog, Black, and Frosted Spruce, the sneaker’s Utility styling features a mixture of grey and black tumbled leather for its upper with a laceless design. An updated collar with a unique buckle fastening system, followed by orange accents on the heel and tongue are applied. Finally, a light green tinted semi-translucent sole completes the design.
