The Air Jordan 3 OG Retro Black Cement first dropped in 1988, then again in 1994, 2001, 2008 and 2011. The silhouette in this classic colorway is making another big comeback this weekend and it’ll be available in full family sizing for its 30th anniversary. The legendary colorway of Black, Cement Grey, and Fire Red basically covers the entire model, as it’s also detailed with classic Nike Air branding at the heel and outsole, a Fire Red tongue lining and white midsole to complete the classic design altogether.
The Air Jordan 3 White Cement is back and it’s celebrating the 30-year-anniversary of that iconic moment when Michael Jordan launched from the free throw line during the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest. Rocking the AJ 3 in that OG color scheme of White, Fire Red, Cement Grey and Black hues, the sneaker is detailed with a translucent sole that features a red stripe to represent the exact place where MJ took flight. Other distinct markings are “3:51” on the back pull tabs as a nod to the time MJ took flight and “147” on the tongue to reflect MJ’s total score in the final round of the Dunk contest.
