NFG, the Non-Fungible G-Class is the cool name for this upcoming drop coming on niftygateway.com in a collaboration with renowned artists that some we have featured on abdz. Some of us will surely recognize the iconic boxy shape G-Class from Mercedes-Benz. An icon status beyond its function as a durable off-road vehicle and elegant appearance. For this drop, 5 artists have been chosen to create works that reflect on the fundamentals of what the car stands for; portraying the familiarity that the G-Class fan base relates to yet elevating it to a masterpiece into the NFT space. We would like this cool project by designers Diogo Ferreira and Diogo Rosa based in Portugal and their UI/UX concept titled ‘Spotify ID’. What is it? Well it’s an amazing design that would be based on data visualization of ‘how you can you share your favorite music playlist’ with your peers, friends, and family. What’s particular is how visually it looks through what they conceptualize as ‘digital code’. Yukiko Morita works against the grain with her collection of bread-based home goods. The baker-turned-designer launched PAMPSHADE back in 2016 after nearly a decade of experimenting with the doughy material, and today, the brand creates a variety of quirky, functional objects, including croissant nightlights, baguette chandeliers, and naan timepieces that appear to be the leavened counterpart to Salvador Dalí’s melting clocks.
